ABOUT THE ROLE

The Site Supervisor position is a foundational role for Malora Homes. This is a full-time, permanent role operating out of our Mayfield office. The role will enable the right candidate to establish systems and processes that form the basis for future growth of Malora Homes.

 As the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle of multiple residential builds simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will guide a team of subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Construction Supervision: Manage multiple construction sites from commencement to completion, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, budgets, and schedules.

  • Client Liaison: Establish and build strong relationships with clients, providing regular site updates and ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Safety & Compliance: Establish and maintain safe construction sites, ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety (WH&S) regulations.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to deliver high quality dwellings, on time and on budget.

  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to minimise impacts and keep projects on track.

  • Quality: Ensure all construction is compliant with the NCC, and that any defects are promptly identified, captured and rectified.

  • Administration: Manage all administration aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, suppliers, defects, EoT’s, callups, variations, etc. using On-Site Companion construction management software. Additionally, manage site safety using HazardCo safety management software.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to review project compliance, progress, timelines, and budgets.

ABOUT you

We are looking for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to upholding high standards in both construction quality and customer service. In particular, we’re looking for someone who has the following:

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years’ experience concurrently supervising multiple residential construction projects.

  • Qualifications: A trade qualification in the building industry, ideally with a supervisor license. Furthermore, you will also require a current driver’s license and General Construction Induction (White Card).

  • Regulatory Knowledge: A sound, working understanding of the current NCC (National Construction Code) and WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) regulations.

  • IT & Administration Skills: Strong proficiency in using construction management software, email, and the MS Office suit of programs.

  • Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing priority service to clients and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Problem-Solver: Ability to pro-actively identify issues quickly and implement solutions efficiently.

  • Organised: Exceptional time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and conflicting demands at once.

Renumeration & Entitlements

  • Base salary within the range of $110k to $125k, plus superannuation.

  • A fully maintained company vehicle plus laptop and mobile phone.
