WHO ARE WE?

Malora Homes was born in 2023 from another well-known Newcastle construction business that has been building and renovating residential homes in the Hunter Region for over 20 years. Malora Homes was created to fill the need for more versatile housing options in the region, focusing on the construction of granny flats and small dwellings.

The Advantage

While Malora Homes is a new company, our foundations are from a construction team, that, as of 2023, has built over 1000 dwellings. This foundation has offered Malora Homes access to existing relationships with suppliers and contractors, and the advantage of years of experience in residential design and construction.  With the benefit of their proven design and construction processes and procedures under our belt, we can deliver a high-quality service to our customers.

Our founder is dedicated to adapting to change and confronting challenges faced by the region's housing industry.  With the growing need for affordable housing options, Australians are considering secondary dwellings and granny flats as a solution for first home buyers, downsizers and everything in between. Our passion is to build granny flats and small homes that enhance the lifestyle of families and investors.

It's our goal to meet the needs of Newcastle & Hunter residents by offering them beautifully designed, quality granny flats and small homes, built to stand the test of time. We have a range of homes currently in construction across the region and our team has been steadily growing to meet the demand on our services.

Our head office in Mayfield is currently undergoing refurbishments, ready to launch a new showroom and displays to the public soon. In the meantime, we can offer FREE virtual and onsite inspections to determine your property’s suitability for a secondary dwelling.
